During his impressive 20 year career in the beauty industry, he has worked as a stylist, educator, and salon owner. Member of Chicago Cosmetology Association, senior educator for "Master Cut" program, and a winner of National Color Contest for "We Care Hair" campaign in 1996, 1998 and 2000, Gene is recognized as a Color Correction Specialist by Wella-Sebastian Corporation and is also an honor member of Heritage Registry for "Who is Who" book (2007-2008).
